Regional players could see the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) bowling off in just over two months’ time as organizers have shown their intention to stage the tournament between August 18 and September 10 in Trinidad and Tobago.

However, even with the seeming imminent return, top earning players will be asked to take a 30 percent pay cut when compared to the pay outs in the 2019 edition.  There will be no salary cut for players below the US $20,000 bracket.

The tournament which is subject to government approval, will see players arriving in the twin island public on August 1 in order to satisfy the quarantine period mandated by the T&T Government.
